The ethos of the Club shall be that it is “by women, for women”, and as such, membership shall be limited persons who are female at birth.
The Equalities and Human Rights Commission has published guidance on this statutory definition as follows: “ an association of 25 or more people can be limited to men only or women only. A women-only association should not admit trans women (biological men). A men-only association should not admit trans men (biological women”
After a recent member vote, Curvy Riders is now a women-only club, and we are only accepting applications from biological females at this time.
Any member who is content to apply on this basis can apply without any further intrusive enquiries needing to be made.
